Dale is a fifth generation Beaufortonian and has been involved in community and civic affairs in Beaufort for most of her life. She most recently served as Beaufort's elected representative on the Beaufort County Board of Education and has served as a trustee for the the Beaufort County Open Land Trust, and the BeaufortMuseum.Dale recently restored a home in the Historic District and currently lives there with her family.
